Greening the Music Industry

Music labels like NYC’s Green Owl Records and the Bay Area’ Parks and Records reduce their carbon footprint with DIY tactics. Big music labels aren’t always as proactive. Lee Trink, then-president of EMI subsidiary Capital Music Group, told a reporter at the label’s 2007 “green” Grammy party, “There’s a team, and hopefully they are experts, and hopefully they are accurate.”
