Hi Gary

I did the Magazine Journalism MA last year and am looking to get in touch with someone to give me one-on-one tutorials in online journalism. I really need to brush up my skills for the kind of jobs that I'm applying for. Could you help, or suggest anyone who you think might be good?

Thanks a lot!

I can absolutely relate to this!

I'm a just-graduated student journalist, and at both student papers where I worked (the Oxford Cherwell and The Santa Clara, in California), *nobody* was interested in online journalism! They didn't see the point of it... and considered online to be very much separate from print.

It's astonishing to me that students are still so far behind/so confused by this area, especially given that we grew up with the Internet, as you mention.

I really admire what you're doing-- even though you may be met with blank stares and confusion a lot of the time, we students need teachers like you who are excited and willing to improve our tech-literacy.

Hi there Gary. Im not sure if you remeber me but I was on the summer course at LSJ (the 18 year old music guy).
I have taken your advice and started a blog on wordpress.
However, I was thinking of trying my hand at reviewing new cds but was wondering about the legal problems that could occur if I took a picture of the cd case its self. Would there be a problem with using the artwork.
Cheers

I just read about his film in the Intl. Herald Tribune. The fact that he profiled the man who killed his father is incredible. Can't wait to see it.
